In a
surprise move, the Des Moines Register went straight up establishment
in their endorsement of Clinton for president. While I don't begrudge
their choice, I do like this part about what they said about who they
didn't endorse.
The Boston Globe and the Des Moines Register announced
the presidential primary endorsements this evening. Both influential
newspapers endorsed John McCain on the Republican end of of the field.
